Prospective Participating Lender
Dear Prospective Participating Lender:
Thank you for your interest in Delaware State Housing Authority’s (DSHA) Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bond (SFMRB) Program. Our participating lenders share the benefits of building a strong confidence among first time customers. Lenders may reach their Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) investment objectives by utilizing a product specifically designed to reach low and moderate income Delawareans.
In order to fully participate in the Bond Program, please complete and return to DSHA the offer to participate, Mortgage Origination Master Agreement (MOMA), all necessary supplemental information, and the annual participation fee of $3,000. Please note, DSHA mortgage programs may only be originated at Delaware-based (physical) retail offices.
Open enrollment for new lender application is conducted quarterly. Complete applications should be submitted before the scheduled quarterly deadline:
March 15th
June 15th
September 15th
December 15th
Applications will be reviewed and lenders will receive notice within 5 business days after application deadline. Once approved, lenders receive valuable training and technical assistance so to execute and deliver solid, competitive products to their customers while earning 1.70% (1.50% origination points and 0.20% service release fee).
