The Delaware State Housing Authority offers paid internships to college students eager to work alongside professionals to jumpstart their career.

DSHA Summer Internship Program
Are you passionate about affordable housing, state government, and community development?
Come work with the DSHA Policy & Planning Department on projects related to land-use, housing policy research, disaster & emergency management, supportive housing, homelessness and mapping!
We’re looking for passionate individuals with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset who want to contribute to positive change in Delaware.

- Hybrid, two days a week in-person (office)
- Compensation: $4,000

Alex Modeas
The DSHA Intern experience initiated my passion for affordable housing in the First State. From crafting policy briefs on housing topics to tracking legislation in the General Assembly, the internship gave me the confidence to pursue a career in affordable housing in Delaware.
